Initial and continuing education
Training and professional development are very important to us, and we dedicate ourselves to them with commitment and enthusiasm. We sincerely thank our patients for the trust they place in our younger colleagues as well.
Decamed AG is a Category C training center recognized by the Swiss Institute for Medical Education (SIWF). This means that resident physicians can complete two of their five mandatory years of residency training at our clinic. Therefore, our team also includes younger doctors who already have several years of professional experience but are not yet board-certified in dermatology. A board-certified dermatologist is always available to supervise the residents and provide support.
This benefits our patients because doctors in training can often dedicate more time to each consultation. This makes it possible, for example, to perform necessary tests or biopsies on the same day. This eliminates the need for additional appointments, and patients receive clarity and an explanation of their findings more quickly.
