Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA and RNA, that act as biostimulants, promoting the body's own regenerative processes, such as collagen production and cell repair. They are derived from natural sources, primarily marine fish (e.g., salmon), purified, and injected into the skin to improve skin texture, increase hydration, and treat scars. How do polynucleotides work in the skin?
